Analysis asset declarations
Persist ROM asset annotations and legacy IDs without invoking conversion or rewriting ROM bytes.
Analysis projects keep asset declarations on classified ROM intervals: codec ID, implementation version, JSON-safe options, optional provider provenance, and optional compression capacity or bank policy. They do not store extracted bytes or run a converter when a project is loaded.
Known v1 snes.asset.* IDs can be resolved with resolveProjectNativeAssetId() for analysis display. The persisted ID, version, and options remain unchanged; unknown IDs and versions remain unresolved until an explicit migration. This preserves project history without silently changing native byte semantics.
The disassembler owns ROM identity, interval classification, raw source export, and conservative project edits. Source export preserves unclassified ROM bytes; a declaration does not authorize an automatic cartridge rewrite. The former runtime asset codec, planner, compression, and preview registries have been removed. Use @uttori/asm-assets for standalone conversion and includeAsset for new source assets.
Instruction trace artifacts can retain execution-time bytes and CPU/DMA/HDMA observations. See captured RAM code and trace limits.
