UTTORI ASM ยท IN DEVELOPMENT

Language server

Use language server in the Uttori ASM VS Code extension.

The VS Code extension bundles Uttori ASM's language server. It provides diagnostics, completion, hover, symbols, definitions, references, rename, semantic tokens, and build requests. It is not distributed as a standalone npm package.

Editor behavior

The server reads the active workspace and the asm project configuration. Settings include configFile, plugins, target, architecture, entryPoints, includePaths, buildOutput, and baseImage. In an untrusted workspace, external plugins and workspace configuration are disabled; builds with the bundled SNES target remain available.

Each editor connection owns its project state and index. If you work with multiple project roots, open a separate VS Code window for each root so diagnostics and builds use the intended configuration.

Document formatting is not supported in the current release. For the settings exposed by the extension, see VS Code settings. For project options shared with the CLI, see project configuration.
