UTTORI ASM ยท IN DEVELOPMENT

Your first assembly

Build a one-byte SNES output and understand what the result means.

On this page

After installing the CLI, create main.asm:

lorom
org $008000
sei

Build

npx uttori-asm main.asm main.sfc --debug

This emits the SEI instruction as byte 78 and writes a debug map. The file is a one-byte assembly example, not a bootable game. The CLI uses SNES by default.

Next steps

Use project configuration to choose targets, architecture, include paths, and output. For a raw 6502 image, select the 65xx plugin and target explicitly.

Try 6502 and 65816

Edit the source, choose a CPU, then run it. LDA #$0012 is one immediate byte on the 6502 and two on the 65816, so the listings differ. Without JavaScript, the 6502 bytes are shown.

Output bytes78 A9 12 85 34
